This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your information when you use our AI-powered people search infrastructure, mobile applications, and website.
Our goal is to be transparent regarding what information we do and do not have access to and where this information is shared, so before we begin, we would like to emphasize the following:
- Quis Labs does not, and will never, sell your personal information to third parties.
- Quis Labs is not currently affiliated with any school or educational institution, and Quis Labs will never disclose your identity or anonymous search queries unless required by law or to law enforcement to ensure the safety of our communities.
Account Creation
To create an account and access our AI-powered people search services, you must complete verification steps:
- Phone Verification: You'll receive an SMS verification code to confirm your phone number.
- Identity Verification: You must verify your identity using one of several available methods, including but not limited to:
- Clicking an email verification link
- Signing in with Google or Microsoft (OAuth)
- Confirming an email that is a valid business or educational address
- Submitting proof of identity or professional credentials
While no verification system is entirely foolproof, we implement multiple verification methods to help ensure the privacy and integrity of our search services. Users who do not complete verification may still create an account and access limited features of the platform, but will not be able to access advanced search capabilities or sensitive data.
Why do our services require verification?
To ensure the safety and integrity of our AI-powered search platform and to prevent misuse of sensitive personal information, we require users to verify their identity. This helps us maintain a secure environment where legitimate users can access our advanced Graph Neural Network-powered search capabilities while protecting against unauthorized access to personal data.
Children and Family
While we allow users who are 13 years of age or older to use Quis Labs, provided that they satisfy the other account requirements, only adults are allowed to make purchases through our Services and children under 13 are not authorized to use Quis Labs or create accounts. Our AI-powered search services are designed for professional and legitimate use cases.
Content you create on Quis Labs
When you interact with the Quis Labs platform, we collect the information and content you create. For example, we review the text content of your search queries, user interactions, and collect metadata regarding such activities that may include the identity of the user and any users they search for or interact with. All search queries and interactions are processed through our AI systems and may be used to improve our Graph Neural Network algorithms. Your personal information is never publicly visible to other users, but please keep in mind that if you include information that could identify you in your search queries, our systems may process this information to provide relevant results.
Quis Labs has no obligation to keep private any information that you disclose through the use of our search services. You should exercise caution when deciding to disclose Personal Information through the use of these tools or functions. We strongly recommend that you do not search for or input any information through the Services that allows strangers to identify or locate you or that you otherwise do not want to be processed by our AI systems.
